Phone: 206-491-6195 Email: drmbsjoberg@gmail.com I am licensed as a psychologist in Washington state (PY#00003849) and am also a coach and consultant. I have been supporting people through life's challenges, specializing in teens and their parents, for over 20 years.I received my PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2007 as well as a MS in Counseling Psychology in 1998. I have worked with clients dealing with a broad range of issue, with an expertise in eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image issues. I have worked in a variety of settings: outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, and inpatient. I have worked with these issues for over two decades and know how valuable seeking support and prioritizing your well-being can be.
In my current practice I work with teens and adults, both in a therapeutic capacity and as a coach. I love helping people find ways to trust themselves, be more authentic, and build up their resilience. It brings me joy to see my clients make positive changes.
It is important to me that clients feel welcomed when working with me. I look to establish a supportive relationship and view our work together as inherently collaborative endeavor.
In addition to my private therapy and coaching practice, I am currently the Head of Counseling Programs 5-12 at Lakeside School in Seattle.
